Alexis and Matt
Color, Color, and more Color. What a gorgeous event and lovely couple. Alexis and Matt got married this past Saturday at the Trinity Episcopal Church on Meridian and held their reception at the Indiana State Museum. Matt’s mother, Jill Sowder from Westwood Paper Company in Carmel, hosted the rehearsal dinner at the NCAA, where the guests were able to play basketball and practice pitching with the pitching machine! What fun! I’m not going to lie, it was hot but Alexis never stopped smiling the entire time. The church was absolutely beautiful, with its 12th century history and uniqueness. We were able to help them create and design the event décor for the reception, and let me tell you what a beautiful site. They were able to incorporate personal touches every step of the way. Both bride and groom attended IU, so we decided to name the tables after their favorite places on campus. The groom’s nickname is SHREK, so we offered guests SHREK JUICE and FIONA PASSION as the signature drinks. Their main colors were green and eggplant, and WOW did they really pop. The lighting in the room just accented the tables the perfect amount. Oh yeah, did I tell you we offered the guests a fruit plate with fresh kiwi, grapes, and cantaloupe to match our colors. Those are the little touches that really make a difference. The cake table was lined with butterflies with Swarovski Crystals. To top off the event, the hot dog vendor waited outside for the guests to enjoy their 4th meal, just like at Kilroy’s on IU’s campus. I loved this lovely event. The colors were amazing and the valet topped the night with their complimentary parking.

We have been to several weddings since Alexis & Matt's and I have to tell you that Tonya and her wonderful crew made all the difference. For you moms out there, it was so perfect to have someone to give suggestions and completely coordinate the weekend, letting everyone know where they needed to be and when. I was able to sit back and enjoy the weekend, not worried if the limo was on time or if the flowers were fresh. CCP took care of coordinating everything and I was able to focus on our daughter and all our family and friends. I highly recommend them!
