Amanda and Mike were married on Friday the 22nd at the Indiana Historical Society. It was absolutely beautiful with all the gorgeous flowers and décor. What a cool place to have a wedding. The ceremony was packed with all 257 people in attendance, not a chair left in the hall! Then the guests went downstairs for the cocktail hour on the canal. What a wonderful, breezy night. We had a hard time getting the people to come inside for the cake cutting. The poor jazz quartet downstairs should have been playing outside, who would have known that a June evening would be so perfect? After the cake cutting, the guests went upstairs to meet and greet the bride and groom as they found their apple place cards. Amanda wanted to use the apples as the place card table because she is a teacher, how cute! I’ve never seen so many apples in a row. The party got started around 9:30 when we really kicked it up a notch, boy those fraternity brothers had so much fun they didn’t want to go home. As the horse and carriage took them away to the romantic honeymoon suite, the guests flung finger slingers at the newlyweds. This is one wedding those guests will never forget. How fun! What a crowd! The after party went on for hours.

That was a fun event, and one of the happiest couples I've ever seen. Great job, gang!
