Luisa and Chris

Scottish Rite Cathedral & Crowne Plaza at Historic Union Station
Now that my wedding season has slowed down a bit I finally have to blog weddings.
Luisa, Chris and their families are very special to me. We started working together way, way, way back in January 2011 for the August 2012 wedding. There were countless emails, hours of phone conversations and numerous meetings all leading up the weekend of August 4th. There were a few bumps along the way but everything worked out perfectly!!!! The weekend was jammed packed full of celebrations. It all started on Friday with the Spa Party for Luisa, her bridesmaids, the moms and couple close friends at the Evan Todd Spa. Then the Wedding Rehearsal in the Scottish Rite Theater followed by the Rehearsal Dinner in the Tyler's Room at the Scottish Rite and finally the night ended with a Welcome Reception at the Pullman Bar at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Saturday was of course the main event- the wedding ceremony and reception. Like I said, months of planning went into every single detail and it paid off because everything came together and the day ran extremely smooth. The setting in the theater for the ceremony was amazing and the words that spoken between the couple was genuine and loving. At the reception, I took Luisa's parents into the ballroom to show them space before anyone else. The were thrilled and thanked me for all that I had done. Once Luisa and Chris were finished with pictures they came in ballroom and were overjoyed with how it turned out. The couple and their parents had a special surprise for everyone after dinner- they learned a special choreographic dance. It started out slow, then got funny and ended slow. Everyone laughed and applauded!!! However, that wasn't the only surprise, guests enjoyed a chef attended bananas foster and cherry jubilee station, a candy bar, we surprised Chris with a Purdue train shaped groom's cake, signature drinks (blue LuLu & orange Chris Chris) and finally late nights snacks at the end of the evening. The party rocked!!!! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. BUT the celebration continue Sunday morning for an "After I Do" wedding brunch at Rock Bottom Brewery. Of course this was a much more casual affair from the night before. It gave Chris and Luisa a chance to sit down and really enjoy their guests that traveled so far to be with them.
The weekend was a BIG success however I didn't do it alone. A huge thank you to all the wedding professionals that helped me pull this one off. Tiffany of

In watching the video, I felt I need to express again what a wonderful job you did. You were awesome! I am very grateful for your kindness, patience, professionalism, extreme work time and expertise. If I had to do it all over again I will not change any thing. You helped so much to make an important and special event absolutely wonderful and gorgeous.
Thank you very much!
Love,
