Amanda & Doug

Amanda and Doug Witter Aug. 3, 2007 Seattle, Washington

What a treat! Seattle skyline on a 75 degree day on a boat at sunset, what more could a bride want? Amanda and Doug tied the knot on the 3rd of August in Seattle Washington. Their friends and family came from all over the county to help them celebrate this lovely celebration. What a fun couple! The most unique element on this particular wedding was the groom's 12 year old triplets. It was neat to see the couple include the boys in the family sand ceremony. Tears fell from my face the moment Amanda read her promises to the boys in front of their friends and family. The entire time I was on this beautiful private cruise, I couldn't decide which I liked better the white sandy beaches in St. Kitts or the skyline in Seattle on a boat at sunset.......boy my job is hard!!!!! It was breath taking. The vendors did a great job. My ABC connections in the city worked out perfectly. The photographer, Tania from Azzura Photography in Seattle, used to live here in Indy (2 miles from my house). She found me through an email I sent out to the Seattle members of ABC. She called me immediately and the next thing I knew we booked her for Amanda and Doug's wedding. What a small world! 4 years ago we did a wedding together at the Scottish Rite and now again in Seattle, Washington?! She is a wonderful photographer and with our membership of ABC we were connected again. We hired a local photographer to shoot their reception here in Indy. They are hosting their downtown reception on the 17th at Mavris Arts and Events Center. Stay tuned for the pictures from the Mexican fiesta!

Kristen and Rob

7-7-7 what a lucky day for Kristen and Rob! When Kristen booked me back in Feb. of 06 I was excited about her wedding, but I had no idea what hype the date would draw. We began very early booking vendors only because we knew the best of the best would book up fast. The media started calling right away wanting to write articles and features about the most popular day in wedding history. It was fun. As you can see with the pictures, Kristen wanted something extraordinary leaving her guests in awe. Needless to say, the pictures speak for themselves. It was unbelievable. The dream team did an amazing job. Once the set up was completed, the evening was smooth sailing and the guests rocked the night away to Cynthia Lane!
We love weddings! We love when our brides do something different. This was by far the most colorful and diverse wedding I’ve ever created. Kristen walked down the aisle to “I Feel Pretty”. Pretty she was, stupendous was the event.
They are now off to Tokyo and Maui for their honeymoon for three weeks. Happy Honeymooning!

Crazy First Dance

Kevin and Jill are one of a kind and their first dance proves it. They were married in St.Kitts and 2 weeks later they held their reception at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. The evening was a blast. Enjoy the clip!!!

Amanda & Mike

Amanda and Mike were married on Friday the 22nd at the Indiana Historical Society. It was absolutely beautiful with all the gorgeous flowers and décor. What a cool place to have a wedding. The ceremony was packed with all 257 people in attendance, not a chair left in the hall! Then the guests went downstairs for the cocktail hour on the canal. What a wonderful, breezy night. We had a hard time getting the people to come inside for the cake cutting. The poor jazz quartet downstairs should have been playing outside, who would have known that a June evening would be so perfect? After the cake cutting, the guests went upstairs to meet and greet the bride and groom as they found their apple place cards. Amanda wanted to use the apples as the place card table because she is a teacher, how cute! I’ve never seen so many apples in a row. The party got started around 9:30 when we really kicked it up a notch, boy those fraternity brothers had so much fun they didn’t want to go home. As the horse and carriage took them away to the romantic honeymoon suite, the guests flung finger slingers at the newlyweds. This is one wedding those guests will never forget. How fun! What a crowd! The after party went on for hours.

The Campbell/Scholz Wedding

Courtney and Kevin were married on June 16,2007. The ceremony was held at ST. Luke's and their reception was at the Ritz Charles Garden pavilion. Even though it was on one of the hottest days of the year, Courtney still looked beautiful. Kevin had a little trouble knowing the difference from Courtney's left hand from right hand during the exchanges of rings at ceremony but other than that everything turned out perfect. The couple's cake topper was very unique. The florist made a monogram out of greenery it looked great and tasted delicious.
